LPCM audio wont play in VLC

LPCM audio wont play in VLC . I have tested the file with the correct codec XDCAM (in Quick time player and its fine)
Video> You can get the codec from Calibrated . I have the purchased XDCAM (xd5c is the codec) from Calibrated and VLC plays the video fine . , but not the LPCM audio. (However the audio is fine in QT player but of course QT player doesnt have the de interlace option like VLC.)

Yes, this lpcm audio header is not decoded in VLC because it cannot synchronize the headers.

You have to change its format. Current VLC versions can't play it.

VLC can play LPCM, but not the tracks in certain container formats like MOV.

I am having the same issue as the original poster. The audio on my HD *.mov files won't play in VLC, but the video plays fine. The message I am getting is,

lpcm warning: no frame sync or too small fram

You say,

Does that mean that we are basically out of luck with these files and need to find another way to play them with audio? Or is there some sort of work around. Apologies if I am being dense.

AFAIK only workaround is to change container format or audio track format.

Can anyone confirm that current versions of VLC also can not decode LPCM audio in transport stream packets? When I look at the code I assume there is not a problem with program stream lpcm audio but I was not able to see much about it in ts.c.

LPCM in TS should work, but if you have non-working sample, please upload it.

Here is the raw lpcm data just before I send it into the function which converts it to packetized elementary stream and the video which vlc says the audio codec is lpcm but I hear no sound and this is the log I see at verbosity level 2:

It seems to be incorrectly muxed, since neither Mediainfo nor tsmuzer identify the audio.
