Cant play a movie full lenght

Hello everyone,

I putted a movie on my external hard drive when i wanted to watch the movie the VLC wouldn't play the movie till the end only a part of it!
(Mine external hard drive creates split01 files have no idea what it is)
Before i have putted the movie on my external hard drive i could play the movie without problems with VLC (full lenght).

Any ideas?

If you open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, what does it complain when playback fails?

And you have checked that file didn't get corrupted when you transferred it to external drive?

I'm sure it didn't but the external hddrive creates split01 files maybe it has something to do with that file?
