Unfortunately, no, the same error message. Does the RTP flow stopped message actually mean that VLC actually recognized an Multicast stream, but for some reason the stream stops immediately? Can I provide some more logs or anything to help solving the issue?
I'm also thinking about my network topology, and if I have to change any settings in my router or other network settings. I'm no Ethernet expert, and the IP range of 233.x.x.x is sort of a mystery to me. My SetTopBox is connected directly to the same router (the one provided by my ISP) as the computer running VLC. In the connected client list on the router the SetTopBox is assigned with the local IP address 10.0.0.9 (and answers on ping), and all other connected equipment and computer get IP addresses in the same 10.0.0.x range. How is VLC going to be able to connect to anything in the 233.x.x.x IP range with this setup? Is something magically happening in my router? After all I was able to fetch the Multicast streams with WireShark, so somehow the streams are picked up by my computer, and not only the SetTopBox.
Thanks for any help!
