Front Row controlling VLC - how?

Postby dude2010 » 01 Aug 2009 11:36

How the f... do I get Front Row, to controll VLC!? (or vise versa, well using front row to play FLAC, MKV etc.)
So i can sit back, use the remote, browse through albums, movies etc. easy and nice looking...
I have no volume control on my amplifier, going out on USB, system volume disables, so I have to use the one in VLC, there are no such one in front row! (uses OS volume)

Hope you can help.

Just open up VLC, put your movies to your playlist and sit back. If VLC is the foreground on your Mac (the "VLC" menu is visible), it will accept your Apple Remote just as you would expect.
