newby asks about VLC mac and ascii art output...

Greetings...
I have read elsewhere on the Videolan forums that people HAVE managed to output Ascii art from VLC, most however seemed to have some degree of difficulty. Can anyone verify whether it IS possible to output from VLC as ascii on an intel mac?? If so, a couple of pointers(??) as I have had zero luck thus far.....

Hello, you'll have to recompile vlc and enable the caca or aa output modules because they are disabled per default.
