You can use --wx-systray to get it in the system tray, but I don't know how to get it minimized by default.

Bring up the shortcut properties and it's under "Run:" set it to Minimized.

:?: There is nothing to enter in the "Run:" command it's a choice selection. If your options exceed the length in XP you really should be considering preferences for the changes.

Error when using Wallpaper Overlay mode...

Postby Sealed14X » 26 Jan 2007 17:47

In the event that VLC MP is minimized before playback of a DVD begins, and Wallpaper overlay mode is enabled, an error will manifest:
error -2005532522 [ see: https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/328 ]

Proposed solution add option to minimize VLC MP after playback has started

It is unknown if other file types are affected other than DVD.

Shortcut command line: "G:\System Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --intf wx --wx-embed --wx-systray dvdsimple://J: 0 0 :dvdread-caching=25600
