Hello! Don't understand, that do the option "set a bookmark 1, 2, etc..." After that when I use hot key, for excample Ctrl+F2, and after than use F2, the video begins from its start, but not from the point, when I try to set a bookmark.
Version of VLC — 2.2.4
OS — Windows 7

It is not about bookmarking of current playback position in current media.
"Set playlist bookmark 2" Ctrl+F2
"Play playlist bookmark 2" F2
Ctrl+F2 remembers the URI of the current media. Then F2 plays the remembered media if it is available in VLC playlist.
