come on guys, VLC has been the best PC player for years and you cant add what should be an obvious slamdunk stock-standard no problemo easy tack on book-em-danno gimme

import from camera roll/photo library

please assert yourself as the best video player designers in the industry that doesnt over look the most obvious easiest --please stay polite-- possible on the planet mandatory feature

Trail cam Avi's have stopped playing on my iPad Mini 3 so I was looking to use VLC to view them. Found this post, I can only presume Apple are being their usual obstructive self here. At the moment the only way to do it is via cable and PC. Therefore I use my Win 10 Surface to view them directly now. I don't think Apple have gone into unintended consequences here.
