Mouse Issue

Postby Teevo83 » 27 Mar 2016 01:10

Sorry to necro a seemingly old topic, but I could find no solution to the problem.

These threads all ask about the same issue, with no working solution given:

I'm having the issue where my left click "locks" to a specific widget in the UI; that being the first one I click on. After that, it's stuck and I have to use the task manager to close the program, because it won't even let me use the close button. I can tab through it with the keyboard, but that's tedious and doesn't give access to everything I need.

Using the latest version, and I tried older versions too, to no avail. Mouse driver updates or changing mice is pointless, as the mouse works in every other program on my computer with no issues. Everything else works fine, except VLC. I've used VLC for years now, and I'd really rather not have to get used to a different media player. Please help if you can.

To make answers easier to find for this issue, the solution that worked for me is thus:

Use the 32bit version. I was running Windows 7 64bit.
