Can't uninstall included VLsub extension

Postby scootergrisen » 28 Jul 2015 23:07

I can't seem to find option to uninstall the VLsub extension that is included with VLC.

I can search for VLsub in "Plugins & Extensions" and install it from there, so i have 2 versions of VLsub installer.

Then i can uninstall the one i searched for and installed, but i can't seem to uninstall the one that is included with VLC.

It seems strange that i have to search for an extension i want to uninstall, it would be more logically to be able to select it under "Active extensions" tab and then click uninstall there, but i don't see that option.

Using Windows 7 and VLC 2.2.1 64-bit.

On Debian, I had to delete the file "by hand".

They were located in

Code: Select all

usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/vlc/lua/extensions/VLSub.luac
and

Code: Select all

/usr/share/vlc/lua/extensions/vlsub.lua
and I found this information under the "Active extensions" tab, by clicking on their names.
