VLC vdpau support on ubuntu precise

Postby rish » 28 May 2014 16:17

Hello ,

I am trying to build vlc source code with vdpau support it required libvdpau 0.6 .
I was able to get it and crashed into this error.

configure: error: libavutil >= 0.52.4 and libavcodec >= 55.26.0 are required for VDPAU decoding.

I have tried to search a lot but without any results.

Please anybody can help me on this issue and I require this support urgently.

Rishab

You need libav version 10. Latest Ubuntu has version 9 only.
