FTP CWD command invalid syntax

VLC IOS vesion 2.2.2 connecting to Serv-U.

After user an password has been validated VLC request PWD.
server responds with " E:" is current directory.
TYPE is then set to I
VLC issues CDW //

0000 43 57 44 20 2f 2f 0d 0a CWD //..

Server responds with syntax error


0000 35 30 31 20 53 79 6e 74 61 78 20 65 72 72 6f 72 501 Syntax error
0010 20 69 6e 20 70 61 72 61 6d 65 74 65 72 73 20 6f in parameters o
0020 72 20 61 72 67 75 6d 65 6e 74 73 2e 0d 0a r arguments...


Should VLC use CWD /E: ??????

Are you browsing the server or streaming a FTP URL?

Just opening a connection to the ftp server.
Not using an ftp URL as a network stream.

I'm having the same issue. VLC issues "CDW //" which adds an extra forward slash. Not sure why this is?
