Powersaving bug?

Postby verbal_666 » 09 Feb 2014 22:43

Hi guys.
Using 2.1.3 version.

When i play a video/stream with full interface, i got powersaving OFF by requests (display/audio/process) in Windows 7, and it's OK

Code: Select all

#powercfg /REQUESTS DISPLAY: [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe SYSTEM: [DRIVER] Realtek High Definition Audio (HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_14627673&REV_1003\4&7fea68e&0&0101) Flusso audio attualmente in uso. [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe AWAYMODE: Nessuna.
When i play video/stream and stream over http with DUMMY interface (-I dummy), powersaving remains ON, so i got Windows to goes standby when i'm streaming.. but i think i need to take it OFF as in full interface, right?

The video output is the one that does powersaving or not...

Should not be

Code: Select all

SYSTEM: [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe
ON also in dummy interface?

Overridden "my problem" with this little tool when i stream over network to prevent Windows standby in DUMMY interface...

It's a good compromise...
