Green Lines on Playback

Postby Bruce1953 » 04 Jun 2012 23:50

I have recently had some work done to my computer and now when I try and playback on VLC two (2) green lines appear on the screen. One horizontal and one vertical. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!

I had the same problem. I played around with the preferences of vlc 2.0 which i was having problem with. And it worked. The green lines are gone.
Tools >> Preferences >> Video >> Uncheck "Use hardware YUV>RGB conversions". Click Save. Exit vlc player and re-open vlc. The problem should be solved. :)
