Will there be a Default skin update?

I happen to really like this skin. Will the creator please update it for VLC version 0.9.0, that way it will have the features that this new version will support? And could you make an inverted black version, and also fix the highlight for selected items in the playlist to be of a different color?

This is one of the best skins, and unlike a couple of other skins, it gives me absolutely no troubles. Thanks again.

Just to make myself clear, I’m talking about the black and white skin made by aLtgLas5 that came with VLC media player version 0.8.5. A new default skin would be fine, but I was hoping that this skin would be updated too and made available on the skins page. Thanks.

I sure could do an updated version, also the conversion to black could be accomplished easily.
Maybe I'll submit an entry to the hypothetical skin contest, so I'll start converting the old default skin to 0.9.0 not before the release.

That’s good to hear, I’m looking forward to seeing you’re revision of this skin. Currently though I’m using the wxWidgets interface until the skins mode can support the drag-and-drop function as-well as menus, hopefully the developers will make this possible for skin designers before the next version of VLC is released.
