only yellow picture

hi,
every type of video i play i only hear the sound but the picture is yellow?
the problem occured when i installed the vlc 0.7.2 the versions before worked very well. i have all the standard settings and using XP.
for future development it would be great, if there was an option to make an avi decode as fast as possible for playback on slow computers (maybe a prebuffer which fills up first or something).
I also have to give you a compliment on the video audio sync, its the only player i know that plays all the videos very synchronious, thx for that!

I have reinstalled my windows xp, and there ist still the same problem!
i get no picture ?! and the newest vlc was one of the first progs to be installed, no other codecs... is this a bug? obviously on my system, any suggestions..im running now sp2 pre on xp and didnt change any settings in vlc...

...there are no messages and directx is also all right!
I don´t get an answer because I am a guest or nobody knows anything???

Settings->General Settings->Video, check Advanced Options then uncheck Overlay Video Output.

It worked for me but I don't understand why... Wink
