still can't play m4p after installing the user key

the vlc shows
"mp4 private error: drms_init( priv ) failed"
I'm using vlc 0.7.2
what did I do is installing vlc on my windows xp
then copied the key from c:\documents and settings\$username\
application data\drms to ~/.drms, actually I copied it to
~/.vlc, ~/.vlc/.drms as well, but it still doesn't work
my itunes is 4.0, the very earliest version I think.
any idears of what's going on? btw, my linux is on /dev/hdb

By chance are the files you are trying to play any of the follwoing?

o iTuens audio books?
o purchased with iTunes 4.5 or newer?
o purchased on another computer from the one they are being played on?
