DVD playback quality issues

Postby buckiller » 21 Jan 2007 23:38

Every DVD I watch with VLC has issues with distortion or something at the edges of moving objects in the scene of the movie. If the object is motionless, its fine. If the object is moving the edges mess up. Is there a setting I can change or something else to fix this issue??

Heres a capture of a still object:

Thank you very much for the response... the deinterlace worked very well for the problems I was mentioning for the anime, I haven't tried other movies yet.

Is there a link you can give me that has information about deinterlace? What are the differences in the different ones in VLC?

Thanks again so far for the help.

The different types of deinterlace are for the various forms of interlace found through out the world. Unfortunately no one labels their files this way. So you will need to determine which one best fits your situation.
