Place vlc:quit at the end of the command line.

quit vlc

Let's say my vlc app is in c:/vlc.exe.
When i bring up the command prompt window in WindowsXP and type in "vlc xyz.mp3" it starts up and plays the mp3 file.
Now I want to stop it and close vlc.
Typing "vlc:quit" or "vlc quit" does not work.
