VLC 0.86a seekbar has problem on Nero Digital Standard AVC

VLC 0.86a seekbar has problem on Nero Digital Standard AVC Videos:

if you try to slide the seekbar in a bigger distance (e.g. 1 hour), VLC won't show the video. If you just slide small distances everything works fine.

I tried this with a converted Nero Digital Standard AVC Video from a DVD

VLC won't who the video.
Is this a technical term? :P

What is a "Nero Digital Standard AVC Video"? Is this where you haven't changed any of the encoding parameters?

I have experienced an issue with VLC for a couple of hours after an Microsoft update where VLC will not seek long distances in h.264.

It is unknown what creates this error, but it clears itself a few hours after a Microsoft update.
