Universal Or Intel?

Postby XenoPhex » 25 Dec 2006 00:44

I'm just wondering, what would be better to download, the Universal Binaries version or the Intel version of VLC. Right now I'm running on a 2.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo and I honestly don't see a difference between the two. However, I'm new to macs so I don't really know the background details between the two. What's the advantages of having one over the other?

The only difference is the filesize. Universal runs on both intel and ppc, intel version only runs on intel.
