Audio CD Playback Problems

Postby piatigorsky » 20 Dec 2006 03:19

Hello, all:
I have two problems regarding audio CD playback:

1. Every time I play an audio CD, the following error message pops out:
main: cannot pre fill buffer
Although CDs still play back fine without problems, this error message comes out every single time, no matter what CD I play. Is there a way to correct this, or is it just a bug?

2. Is there a way to stop VLC from looking up info in the CDDB database every time a new CD is inserted?

I'm running VLC 0.8.6 on a MacBook 1.83 GHz with combo drive, using OS 10.4.8
