Error 80020006, Unknown name with activex of 0.86test2

Postby NiCo_FMC » 16 Nov 2006 08:20

Hello, i'm french so sorry for my bad english :)

I'm testing VLC 0.86test2 and i have an error : Error 80020006, Unknown name

This error occurs when i try to read an item in playlist with the activeX.

I have the same error in test1 but not in 0.85.

I'm a Windev developper but this error occurs in VB6 too...

I am not sure to understand the question well. I'm using ActiveX VideoLAN ActiveX Plugin V1 and theses properties : addtaget, play, stop, etc.

With the VLC 0.8.5 ActiveX, i don(t have any problem but error unknown name occurs when i add a target in playlist with VLC 0.8.6 ActiveX.

Sorry for bad english, i'm using google to translate from french :(

your problem could be related to a missing type library info in the registry, look at the following: viewtopic.php?t=28383

Ok, i have tried the registry fix but there's no changes. I still have the same error (with VLC 0.86a).
