What is the ETA for the Mac OS X browser plugin?

When will a new version of the Mozilla plugin for Mac OS X be released?
Will there be a testversion, do we have to wait till 0.8.6 final has been released or will be somewhere after 0.8.6 ?

I thought the tracker said Intel version was to be released in 0.8.6, but I dont see it and for that matter I dont even see the older 0.8.5 PPC version even listed on the download site anymore.

does anyone know what happened to the mac plugin?

Yep, 0.8.6 has been released, but as far as I can see the new MacOS browser plugin hasn't been. Maybe it's not finished yet?

The new 0.8.6 plugin has been released in a PowerPC and a Intel version now. Look on the VLC MacOSX download page:
