audio stream - meta informations (artist / title)

Hello,

is there a possibility to transmit additional data in a mp3 stream e.g. artist, title, or stream name, so a player (e.g. noxon http://www.my-noxon.de/) can display it?

Not currently. It's not reallly on the ToDo list either. You can make a trac.videolan.org ticket if you want to, but I think most developers tend to want to work on video stuff.

thanks for your answer! I have looked in the Shoutcast/Icecast stuff and seen that it's only some header lines!
