"Add to playlist" when right-clicking on file

Postby SilentBob » 08 Dec 2006 03:21

Hello I just installed vlc and I checked for "contex menus" so that I could right click on a file and add it to the current playlist. The open with vlc is less importan as i am using vlc as the default player for most media-files. I have tried reinstaling several times and restarted every time I have done so, but no "add to vlc playlist" have emerged in the right-click menu. I am using a norwegian version of XP, could this cause this problem? Or have I misunderstood what contex menus are? My virus prog, cuteftp, notpad++ and winrar is all there when I right click but it would be nice to be able to add a file to a playlist without clicking the buttong in the playlist and then

The context sensitive option will allow a directory to be added to a playlist. Something I never want to do! :)

Just select VLC as the player. Of coarse the VLC option of one instance will be needed.
