offset from the RTSP request url

Postby cmert » 03 Sep 2006 23:07

Hi,
It would be great to have offset feature which can be read from the RTSP request url such as;

RTSP://server:554/stream;offset=300

could start the stream from 300 seconds(5mins).

thanks

cmert.. did you get this figured out? This would be great in a VB app to be able to get the length then tell it to start the RTSP stream at a point.

Thanks!

First off all it should use ?start= for that, and not ;offset
Second, even that is not a standardized format.
We choose not to implement this atm, because we cannot garantuee it's workings. But you can just create a custom SDP file with a custom t= value
Don't use PMs for support questions.
