.cue doesn't support subtitles

Postby immaterial » 22 Nov 2006 13:02

Hi, I'm tryna watch a movie in .cue-format on mac vlc – which seems to work properly except for the subtitles. i'm getting the following errors:

main: option sub-original-fps does not exist
main: demux doesn't like DEMUX_GET_TIME

some subs are shown for a while, then for some minutes there is appearing nothing, again some subs are shown and so on... very annoying.

is there a solution to this problem??

thanks a lot.

VLC doesn't support subtitles with mpeg movies. Performance might have improved in 0.8.6, but i doubt it.

mplayer doesn't support .cue-files at all.
It works for me (you can click on either the .bin or the .cue file).

Having said that, I can't find a way to add subtitles (I have the same problem as you).
