VLC Windows to use "Virtual" CD/DVD drives

Postby mgpaulus » 07 Nov 2006 16:01

Hello,

I use a virtual CD/DVD device program from http://www.virtualcd-onine.com that allows me to create CD drives that can mount ISO, MDF, Alcohol 120, and other types of images.

Intervideo WinDVD 4 can find these drives and use them, but VLC cannot/does not see them or allow me to use them as a source drive.

Would it be possible to allow VLC to use these virtual drives (I assume that Drive Demon would be another similar situation).

Don't know if this will help but you can open the iso directly with VLC.
