hi what i have to setup that videolan plays the dvd in german language?

look in all the menus (File, Video, Audio, etc...)

the setting is here i'm sure, but i don't record where exactly and i have no dvd to try

so i guess it's in Audio...

It would probably be best to set the options from within the DVD's menus. In this way you will know if your language is available. But you can search for audio tracks within VLC. Right click on the video while playing the main title and select Audio tracks and then your language.
