Get the name of the current item of the Playlist ?

Postby Aweb » 09 Sep 2006 12:39

Hi !

I'm developping with VB a software that uses the VLC api.

I'd like to know how to get the name of the current played media on the playlist.

I can get the Index, but without the name it will be difficult :)

Thansk for your help,
Aweb

You should be able with the new API I think.
Do you use a SVN based VLC ?

Hi.

No, I don't.

Does new ones allow this ?

If yes, can you compile me the VNC version ? Thanks :)

I too was wondering about the list control system and posted a note about it on the end of the sticky, New Unified APIs for ActiveX and Mozilla plugins for 0.8.6. I have not heard anything back from there but was working on creating a java based mirrored list that would keep track of the item list value accordingly, but it would be much nicer to have it directly taken care of.
