VideoConference from a web page

Is it possible to include the VLC plugin in a webpage to make videoconference?

I have a webpage with an applet that communicates with a central server. So when an user connects to the application, he has to see the "operator" user.

I have tried JMF library, but it does not offer good quality, so I am thinking about alternative solutions, like including vlc plugin in the browser and make it stream the video dinamically.
