question for DJ

Postby goldschlager » 03 Sep 2006 10:36

In another thread you said:

"From you video cards utilities go to the overlay options and set it there while watching a video in any player. VLC uses real filters and will not effect the overlay settings, but it does recognize them."

I'm on a Windows XP system. How do I change the settings on my video card so the picture is brighter? I've gone into Device Manager and can't find any place to do it there.

check if your graphics card provider installed some tools to tune the card settings. It should be in Display Properties somewhere in the Advanced tab
