Way to preset volume at maximum?

Postby viewer3403512 » 31 Aug 2006 02:08

Is there a way to do this? I prefer to control the volume from my keyboard, with the VLC setting starting off at max. Thanks

It by default is at 100%

If you turn VLCs volume higher (400% is the max), you AMPLIFY the audio, which has negative influence on it's quality. Though personally I love the fact to be able to raise VLCs volume beyond the normal limit, i highly advise against setting amplified audio as a default.
