Win CE - current status check, plus guidance sought

I have just got a PDA, and would like to stream to it from my PC. (I have already streamed successfully between PCs)

I realise that:
- the WIN CE port is still "under development"
- the last nightly build was quite some time ago

1. So, is it still progressing, or has it been abandoned?

2. Either way, if anyone has managed to stream successfully using this port, could you give me advice / support on how to do so.
<all I can offer in return is a promise that if I can get it working, I will write it up and post on the VLC forum>.
