Real Time logo manipulating while streaming

Postby pasztorl » 15 Aug 2006 11:40

Hi There!

Is it possible to add or remove logo without restart player/stream?
I tested the logo filter, it works OK. At now I need to change/enable/disable the logo.
I checked the command line interface. The longhelp shows:
| logo-file STRING . . .the overlay file path/name
| logo-x X . . . . . . . . . . . .offset from left
| logo-y Y . . . . . . . . . . . . offset from top
| logo-position #. . . . . . . . relative position
| logo-transparency #. . . . . . . . .transparency

but theese commands are not working for me. For example
if I type:
logo-y 1
reply was:
logo-y: returned 0 (no error)
but there are no any result on played stream.

So, Is it possible to use this commands, or I do wrong anything?

Thans for your answers!

Could you post the transcode string you used to send the logo with a stream? I'm using

Code: Select all

vlc -I dummy test.mpg --sub-filter logo --logo-file logo.png --sout '#transcode{sfilter=logo}:standard{access=udp,dst=239.0.0.2}' --ttl 1
and I'm not getting a logo in the stream at all
