Hi everyone,
I have trouble to send stream into Internet (it run only into LAN)
I have a router D-link DSL-G604T connect to Internet ADSL
I use WIN2000 service pack 4
I don't have firewall
The external IP is 87.5.175.XXX
The Local IP of machine to run VLC server is 192.168.1.2
The Local IP of router is 192.168.1.1
I have setup my Lan Board with a specific IP, the settings are:
IP address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (Router IP adress)
DNS server: 192.168.1.1
First, I open port 8080 into my router (about port forwarding)
When I streaming a video, i choose these steps:
1) Outputs: HTTP
2) port: 8080
3) TTL I try: blank, 1, 2, 3,10
it's now: :sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=http,mux=ts,dst=:8080}}
4) I start streaming
5) open in another PC a VLC client, CTRL+N and put:
http://87.5.175.XXX:8080 (I used IP external)
but after few seconds dislpay an error ("unable to open http://87.5.175.XXX:8080")
If i use a machine into LAN it's ok: http://192.168.1.2:8080 (I used Ip internal associated at machine where run VLC server)
If I use a server machine link to Internet directly by USB modem (not router) all work poprertly very well!
But if I use router not work external LAN.
Can I help me?
Thank you
Alex
