"no picture" message in Mozilla plugin

Postby El_Gusano » 24 Jul 2006 19:07

I've noticed there is a "(no picture)" message displayed in the mozilla plugin just before a video has finished pre-loading. Is there a way to get rid of this message? (just have a black screen until the video shows?)

It's in the source code

The string appears to be written directly in the source code... is there a way to compile only the mozilla plugin without recompiling the entire VLC application?

Sure, "cd vlc/mozilla", edit vlcshell.cpp line #59 (latest svn), "make", "install libvlcplugin.so ~/.mozilla/plugins". Restart your browser & you're all set...

Hi,

I've got the same problem.
I'm using Kubuntu (Dapper Drake 6.06) with mozilla firefox.
Is there any other way to fix this problem because i don't want install the gcc compiler on this system... ? Perhabs there is a nightly update available ?
