what is the "true" meaning？？

Does fake video-on-demand exist??

True video on demand is where you request the playback a media item and it starts now, non-true or NVoD (Near Video on Deman) is where you request a media item and then have to wait for the next scheduled window. A bit like many cable or satelite pay movie services where you have to wait for the next 15 or 30 minute window.
