How to fix time indexing on FLVs?

Postby Drahken » 20 Jul 2006 19:54

FLVs downloaded from youtube don't show the total time nor a progress meter (just the elapsed time). I saw on some site something about fixing the time index on FLV files, but I've lost the link. Can anyone point me to a (windows) prog to fix them?

I've used flvtool2 (http://www.inlet-media.de/flvtool2) to write the duration metatag so that you get the total time and progress:

Code: Select all

flvtool2 -U mymoofie.flv
It needs ruby, which seems to be covered under Windows on this site: http://rubyinstaller.rubyforge.org/wiki/wiki.pl
