mp4 no audio , no video ,no playback time and i get mutiple

Hi everyone
When I playback some mp4 video file I get no audio , no video ,no playback time and i get mutiple tacks in my video menu.This happens with a lot of files.Anybody knows what is going on and perhaps how to fix it: I appreciate any feedback , thanks

MP4 is a container like AVI or MPEG. The file extension does not give much information about the formats inside the container. You will need to start paying attention to the formats you are having problems with. :)

Stream and Media Information --> Advanced Information can help with this as it shows all the formats in the container.

More likely the format is unsupported!
