Viewing VLC-Server Streams with regular TV Sets

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

Does anyone know wether it is posible to view the VLC-Stream with a regular TVSet? If so, what would be necessary hardware/software for the setup?

You must buy a STB such as Amino 103 or 110.
