People from xine and from VIA build player with hardware decoding mpeg-2
support.
Do Videolan has plans for future to make something like VeXP?

No, since none of us owns such a device. it would be hard to develop support for it in that case :)
So we have to wait until someone with such a devices decides to help us and himself.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
