Coverity security scan

Postby mirageflame » 01 Jun 2006 05:38

Currently Coverity is offering FOSS projects the opportunity to use their services to check for potential security issues in these projects to help improve their reliability. I was wondering if VideoLAN developers were considering signing up for this service.

This service can be located at http://scan.coverity.com

I apologize if this is considered spam.

We requested Coverity scans, but they're not accepting entrants at the moment, and they did not include us in the first place. It's not up to us.

Hello,

VideLAN is indeed interested, and we have contacted them. They should add vlc when they add new projects to their effort.

Thanks
