Audio only TS with 0.8.5

It seems as if VLC will not play a TS with only a single audio stream (no video) in it (radio transmission). Is this so or am I missing some setiings? All other TS players (including Windows Media Player and Nero ShowTime) I have will do so.

Any hint welcome!

<Edit>Solved it: I forgot to generate a PCR when there is no video in the TS. I fixed it and derived the PCR from the audio PTS and it plays. Although some point is still strange and perhaps correlated to the PCR / PTS shift I'm using: wenn moving the slider to position the player to some other place in the file the sound is gone. Pressing Pause and Play again makes the day...</Edit>
