Automatic deinterlace + control subwindow when in fullscreen

My wishlist for playing video files in VLC:

• o if the video file is interlaced, automagically apply the last Video/Deinterlace setting;
  
  o when in fullscreen mode:
  • - provide a small floating window with elementary back/forward navigation;
    - when that window is active, clicking anywhere *outside* it makes it disappear;
    - when inactive, clicking anywhere causes it to reappear
    
    (this is how the ComproDTV prog does it - works well!)

The full screen controler has been a long standing item on our todo list. It might make it in 0.8.6 (some devs are actually working on it)
