heres the problem:
After spending some hours trying to stream dvds with ac3 5.1 sound in pure stereo sound ( the center sound iss missing: - odd
) i realized that there seems to be no way to do a sound-downmix from ac3 to stereo. Is there a way ?
I saw a few posts in this forum suggesting to stream wih the ac3 sound, the problem is simple that the output device (hauppauge mediamvp) only two audio channels supports.
Is there any chance that a (near future) version will support sound downmix? the solution sounds simple to me: take the left/right front channels and add xx percent center at both. isnt ?
