mmsh access in output stream damages HTTP interface

Postby Markus Meyer » 10 Apr 2004 17:15

Hello,

Os: Win Xp,
Hw: Pentium 4,
VLC version: 0.7.1

when I start the VLC with the HTTP interface (-I http) and and view a mpg everything is fine. When I use the mmsh access, I get something back the Internet Explorer (IE) cannot show. This is what I did step by step:

1: C:\Programme\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc -vvvv -I http --http-host 192.168.1.100:8081 c:\temp\ford_katze.mpg ":sout=#transcode{vcodec=DIV3,acodec=mp3}:std{access=mmsh,mux=asfh,url=192.168.1.100:1234}"
2: Type in http://192.168.1.100:8081/admin. It shows the admin page.
3: Type in http://192.168.1.100:8081 the IE comes up with a download box. It tries to download "192.168.1[2]". I dumped it on the console and saw some binary stuff:
( ( @☺ ☺ ↑ MP43 @RÐå↔1ð◄úñ á╔♥H÷î H÷☻ ☺ ‼ M P E G A u d i o L a y e r 3 ☻ U ☻ ↕ M S M P E G - 4 V 3
V i d e o ♦ MP436&▓uÄf¤◄ª┘ ¬ b╬l2 ☺└║║...

I read that there is a problem with http access. Maybe this problem is related.

Regards Markus
