playing specific track in defined playlist through cmdline?

Postby Leeoniya » 30 Apr 2006 18:50

I'm using VLC for my TV tuning and use XMLTV for channel listings with the XSLTV frontend. i have my playlist setup already for my entire channel lineup. i was wondering if there was a way to skip to a certain channel/track in that playlist directly from commandline, cause i would like to modify the frontend to open the channel that is clicked on, but still retain the entire playlist so that i can channelsurf later.

thanks
Leon

I have exactly the same question.
I would be very happy if someone helped me out!
