starting from specific position in file

Postby cocentaina » 09 Apr 2004 12:03

is there a command line option to start playing from a specific time position in a file? with DVD, you can select a chapter (@x,y), but when playing an AVI or a ripped DVD (.VOB file) you can only play from the beginning.

Also, chapter selection works only if you play directly from the dvd (/dev/dvd), appending @x,y to a directory where I ripped the whole CD, gives an error (no suitable access module for ...)
